I have been working on this project for the past couple of months with my friend Jake. As a one-year anniversary present to my girlfriend, I gathered our friends here in Denver and shot a music video, compiled with shots of our year together. Click the image for the video! Enjoy!

I interned for Greg Pizzoli in college at the University of the Arts, and then when he was a member of Space 1026. He taught me basically everything I know about screen printing, and really helped me understand what it means to be a working artist, and how to create your own schedule/deadlines; “You wouldn’t just not show up to your regular day-job” he told me once regarding how important it is that I make art every. day.

I learned so much from him and am so proud of him for his book deal with Disney/Hyperion for The Watermelon Seed! I was lucky enough to be able to create these celebratory flags for the release party this spring at The Print Center in Philadelphia.

Go Greg, Go! :)

Very, very excited about this upcoming piece I’m working on. Esther Creative Group, the music management label home to such artists as Lou Reed, Le Tigre and Blonde Redhead, also recently acquired ownership of The Allen Ginsberg Estate and Ginsberg Recordings, and have asked me to create a ‘Ginzy’ t-shirt for them! Very happy about this - I’m also sensing a theme here…(Remember the Ernie Hemingway shirts?) 20th century literary/poetic legends? I’m okay with that!
